I would like to publicly thank the Great Harbor Yacht Club Foundation for its continued support of the efforts of the Town of Nantucket, the University of Massachusetts and the nonprofit environmental and scientific organizations involved in the Foundation’s now annual Harbor Health Symposium. In addition to this symposium, the Foundation sponsors the Harbor Health Scorecard and its Youth Harbor Education Program. Its sponsorship of these events, its financial support through its grant program and its inclusion of the Nantucket community in scientific discussions about the water quality of Nantucket Harbor, serve as an inspiration for the invited guests. Yes, everyone will be assigned a table and seat for dinner but free to mix, mingle and dance for the rest of the evening.
Please come in your finest summer cocktail party attire.
The event will take place at Great Harbor Yacht Club at 96 Washington St. Valet parking is available.
Night for Nantucket Harbor is open to Great Harbor Yacht Club members and their guests. If you have questions about eligibility, please email cbell@ghycfoundation.org.
Yes, but rest assured, the program will be brief and insightful. While we want you to enjoy the evening with your guests, we also want to thank you for your support of the Foundation.

Yes, a single $600 ticket purchased for the 2026 Night for Nantucket Harbor is tax deductible up to $465. Tax deduction amounts are listed with each sponsorship and ticket category.
In accordance with IRS regulations, the tax-deductible portion of your contribution to the Great Harbor Yacht Club Foundation (Tax ID# 30-1128021) is limited to the excess of the contribution over the value of the goods and services we provided to you. Acknowledgment letters should be retained in your records to substantiate any charitable income tax deduction claimed in connection with this gift.

Absolutely! If your employer offers a corporate matching gift program, the Foundation would be grateful to receive any matches applied to the tax-deductible portion of your ticket or sponsorship. Please check with your HR department for details on how to submit a match request, and feel free to reach out to us at cbeil@ghycfoundation.org if you need any information to complete the process.

After registering for Night for Nantucket Harbor, you’ll be placed on our event attendee list ready for check in at the event on July 25th. Please check your spam folder should you not receive a confirmation email shortly after purchase or donation.
